When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way,
But now these days are gone and I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind I've opened up the doors.

Have you ever felt this way, why?

HELP!

omg, yes!
when i was a teenager everything came so easily. my huge problems (at least they seemed huge at the time) were nothing when i look back at them now and i was able to handle everything that came my way on my own. i refused to accept anyone's help and insisted on doing everything on my own cause it made me feel more "grown up". now that i'm a grown up, i find i can't do any of it on my own and i'm begging for help from anywhere i can get it!

Yes, but I have grown up and realized that sometimes we need help from others wether it is physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.

I found out the hard way and I'm not that old. It isn't that I'm not self assured, its just that I've learned my strenghths and weaknesses and learned to ask for help when I need it and swallow my pride.

Oh absolutely. The longer we live the more likely the chances that we will find ourselves need help from others. I am in such a situation now since my husband has been diagnosed with cancer. So many people have reached out to us in so many ways that I am overwhelmed with emotion.

With age comes wisdom.
You open your mind to influences and exterior 'powers' you never even contemplated when younger.

You do, more often than not, open the doors of your mind to let in 'profound' thoughts of life, and specifically spiritual ones.

There are amazing powers out here that we are all privvy to.
Age and 'wisdom' gives us permission to access those powers.

Peace.

Pete.

no, on the contrary, i was a very nice as young girl, but now after i had problems with people i trusted i closed in me, cause until i meet right person
and many have similar issuse with time
the difference is for those who were tennage rebels and later they found someone who tempered them and now they behave normal, actually i know someone like this and she is better than me now, the roles have reversed
what do you say of that?
