A group of people paid a large sum of tax payers money by the govt. to tell us what we already know or what we should know or what they want us to think we know (a.k.a. SPIN) eg. Inflation is only 2.3% And don't worry the UK is not on the brink of a recession. And we will find those WMD. And politicians do deserve above inflation pay rises and a protected pension, whislt you, the police, nurses and I don't.
In short, usually a waste of time and (public) money.
