well, I'm Jewish, but I actually DO enjoy beautiful church architecture, and if a nun asked me to sweep the steps I would take that broom and gladly do it for her! For Jews that is what is called a "mitzvah"- loosely translated it's a "good deed" and I can't imagine not helping out

If I had the time, sure I would. I don't really care that it's a nun. I might do that at someones home too. Although I guess that might be odd - someone asking you to sweep their steps.

She might have just had surgery and shouldn't be doing it even though she was written down as her job.
