I have Robert H Peterson's vented gas log with electric start (no pilot light). When I start it, it start clicking and the flame is burning but it does not start the fire. Followed the instructions of waiting for few minutes before restarting. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong. Called the support and replace the ignition assembly too without any result.

If the pilot light is coming on, you will need to replace the flame sensor. If the pilot is not coming on, you will need to ensure the pilot tube is not obstructed.
If the pilot tube is not obstructed, you will need to replace the gas valve.

If it starts, the problem is not in the mechanism but in the burning material, maybe it's wet?
If it starts burning, what's the problem? try a different fire-log.
