Yes... it's also kept me from making bad choices, i was going to run away at one point but music changed my mind.. and i was also thinking about suicide at one point and music changed that.

Yes. I stole a guitar when I was 12. I was charged as an adult and I spent 36 months in prison where I learned to play guitar! (But not the same one that I stole--they took that back. Seems like they would have let me keep it if I had to go to prison for 3 years.) Anyway, learning guitar got me interested in music and now I play sax in the prison band (stole more stuff when I got out the first time).

Tenacious D changed my life. Period.
Okay, not period, but when i saw School of Rock, Jack Black taught me to never give up and so i started playing guitar. Soon, however, i lost interest. Then, about 1 year ago, i saw the D's movie, and since then i've been playing guitar all the time, non stop. Woot!

I don't believe music can change your life and so goes for anything else. I believe you can only change your life. The answer would be that the music was a inspiration.

Yeah, music is always getting me through things I probably
wouldn't have gotten through without it. It's made me do things I've never done before, and feel ways I never have..
Music is...well....pretty much my life =)

Yes. It took me away from rap.
And no that's not music.
I love Godsmack for savingg me.
Now i like metal though.
But still...
It turned me into a metalhead, which is a lifestyle, and I'm glad I am.
