Say you don't see your crush for a week or two, does absence make the heart grow fonder?

Why or why not?
And give an example if you have one?
(Did it make you make a move the next time you saw them?)

If you personally know the person in some way, yes, absence will make the heart grow fonder. If you don't know him at all, and you don't see him for a while...you'll start missing him but eventually forget about it.

I used to have this major crush on this guy i didn't know, acutally 3 guys i didn't know. It was bad but there was just sumthing about them, I culdn't explain it. But this one guy in particular. When i don't see him, i jus miss him, wish he would come around the corner or sumthing. And then I ended up transfering colleges and then soon forgot bout him. I think about him once in a blue moon and wish i would have made a move then. If i had the guts I had now, I would have totally made a move,, but I didn't. So wats done is done and gone. It kinda sux thou, cuz i'll probly always have that crush on him even if i never see him.

If you have a crush on someone, make a move before it's too late. You don't wanna later end up regretting it.

I think it does. When my husband and I first started dating he was gone 3 out of 4 weeks. Seeing him was such a treat. Our lives went this way for about a year. Then he got to be home for 6 months straight. I think this time period really concreted our relationship. He had to go back to his old schedule after that 6 months, but it really made me think about him all the time--and he thought about me all the time, too.

I think the saying is true because of the chemical imbalances love physically and physiologically causes for the first year or so of a relationship. Absence makes these imballances last longer and if you're lucky the giddy feelings love makes you feel can last as long as 3 years (like in my case). I'm still utterly delighted to be with my crush-turned-boyfriend-turned-fiance-turned-husband!

This only works if it is temporary. And its a part of a plan and
at some point someone has to make a geographic move ... Or say good bye...... before someone cheats and makes a physical move on someone else. That's just how it is.
