China and India and Japan and whomever else wouldn't be the manufacturing force they have become if it weren't for the fact that American companies went to them looking for cheap labor and less stringent environmental and tax regulations!

Isn't this an example of why American business should have been held to some kind of nationalism? I do not mean Communism, but Americans who own companies and have for decades made their fortunes from American workers and American consumers should hold some responsibility to Americans!!

WE made them what they are!

Actually, this trend has transformed our economy from product driven to service driven. This is also in the process of changing from service driven to management driven or creatively driven economy.

But if you want the less philosophical answer, unemployment is at all time lows.

Unfortunately thats a vast oversimplification. Some companies open up shop in places like India and China to establish brand loyalty (would you turn down 2 billion customers). Other companies do so because of competitors. Also China has the largest overall potential labor market for industrial work. EVEN excluding the issues with enviromental regulations China just has more people. A lot more issues go into it then most people are educated by our leaders

No.

Who owns American Businesses? WE DO!!!!!
We American Stock Holders OWN all American Businesses.
Americans who own stocks, mutual funds, 401ks, Pensions, and IRAs. And the millions of employees.

You're thinking, but you are way off base.
No soggy cigar, for you.

(Don't ever allow the Democrats and the Government to take over our businesses. We will be Communists, for sure.)
