Tell that to the dead Yugoslavians or Rwandans. Perhaps you would feel differently if you had lived there.
emotions have no place in productive politics.

"You dismiss the lives of 1.25 people with the same kind of aplomb."
And you use those deaths to justify imperialistic police actions of the US government.

No, it didn't. What caused those deaths was this joke -
"How do you find Al Gore in a crowd of Secret Service Agents? Al's the stiff one."
And the award for the worst campaign by a Democratic presidential nominee in the last 30 years goes to....

It did however make a lot of women know that if the man is powerful enough you too can have your name smeared.
Bill told the world what he thought of the women she was having an affair with that she nothing to him. How sweet.
Yet I know the point you are going after and guess what Bush didn't lie and if you are saying saddam didn't have WMDs well than you have to take that one up with Bill too.

No, it only DIRECTLY caused the deaths of 147.
(The number of people killed at the Aspirin factory that Clinton bombed during his testimony in front of congress(CNN covered his testimony in split screen))
Indirectly one can argue that Clinton was too busy getting off to pay attention to atrocities in Yugoslavia and the genocide in Africa.
I totaly agree that it is not the job of the US to police the world.

I agree with the line of thinking that says "That question never should have been asked in the first place."
Now we have taught America (thanks Kenny) that it is ok to Impeach (question) the President about his sex-life but it is NOT ok to Impeach (question) the Prez about where his intelligence came from and how much of it he ignored...
This is a problematic trend in America that comes from too much "reality TV" and propaganda and not nearly enough knowledge as to what the functions of government are supposed to be.

It was Hillary who pressured Bill into bombing Serbia --- a country which like Iraq NEVER ATTACKED US. --- but had been suckered by U.S. backed Albanian terrorists into a civil war.
If you are one of those who can actually remember Bill Clinton's wanton acts of bombing, bear in mind Hillary will be just like that -- but with less restraint.

No I really don't get your point. I'm just going to go ahead and assume this was an illconceived slam on Bush. Better luck next time.

In the movie, "Excalibur," made in 1981, King Arthur asks Merlin, ....... "What is the greatest quality of a knight? Is it Bravery? Chivalry? Loyalty?"
Merlin replied, "Truth. It must be truth. When a man lies he murders some part of the world."

Bill lied...No one died. I will admit he was terribly distracted during the witch hunt though...I'm sure he could have done a better job if everyone wasn't concerned about a stupid B.J., eh?
