not sure some folks realise that 70,000pounds is about $140,000. I, too, can't fathom what would draw you to Utah from the UK, but to each his own, I guess! Are you planning on buying or renting? And do you plan on finding work? Gosh, if there is nothing pulling you to UT, you really ought to check out some other states!!! I live near Nashville, TN (after growing up in San Francisco,CA and living at Lake Tahoe and in Las Vegas. The Nashville area is beautiful and green with so much to do and see- it's really lovely here. We were in the Cotswolds and London this Spring and TN reminded us a lot of the countryside in England. We've also got a great cost of living here and no state taxes. Good Luck whatever you do!!!

you know that farmington is really cheap they have loads of condos that are really nice and close to lagoon. they don't cost much so i suppose that if you want to check it out it would probably be a good bet to place. pulse its only a half hour away form Salt Lake.

you'd want a house for 50,000 dollars probably (and that's do-able, but it won't be fancy). I hope you are single and young because then it would be easier to be on a budget for a while....if you had a family it would be hard and if you were single and old then that's just sad.
:) hope this helps.
