It could have a mint mark on it, that is located on the eagle side at the bottom below the wreath. The one with a mint mark is worth $13.50 to about $16 in average circulated grades. There is an over date an 1887/6 the six in under the seven. This coin is worth more but is not rare. The coins with a mint mark of O-New Orleans or S-San Francisco are worth a little more in higher grades. There is also an 1887/6-O that has more value. The over dates are worth in the $40 range and above in grades extra fine and above. The values listed are about what a dealer would pay.
