If Bono, Madonna, A. Jolie and the rest of the Third World sympathizers care SO MUCH for the hungry and suffering people there, why don't they give up their billions and billions of dollars and do free concerts for the remainder of their lives? Why don't they just all pitch in and buy the country, then 'clean it up'? Why would they rail against government/s to do more when governments don't exist to feed the world?

The Hollywood left annoys me as much as anyone, but I think you have to make a distinction between foolish rhetoric and genuinely charitable acts. Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt in particular do a lot of objective good in the third world, and I give them credit for that.
