i need directx 9.0c compatible graphics adapter too run my sims. how do i get that? please help!!!!!!

i was able to play but then i was bored an started deleting old songs then i erased the dx thing. yeah...so i lokoed int he recycle but couldnt find it!

I think you need to buy a newer Graphics card. Check whether your PC has a PCI-Express slot for a card or the older AGP type.
You should be able to buy a decent enough card for around £50/$100 online and you can put it into a newer computer if you decide to upgrade later.
