The fan belt broke on my C250D Mercedes, as well as the alternator warning light coming on, the ABS light came on too, now it won't go off. The car was at a standstll when the belt let go, and I cant see any obvious damage.

Sounds as though the ABS will need resetting at a Mercedes dealership. This should only take but a few minutes meaning they will plug in the diognostic set up and recollaberate the computer.

Looks like ABS failure somewhere. could be something small like a sensor or something big like the control unit or the ABS module itself. Your car will still brake but just like a car without abs so if you broke hard, you will literally skid.
