Yes they double my energy.
The statistics on trials not done by drugs cartels are incredible, but your Doctor will never know. Drugs companies test minute doses, and then say nothing happened.
Take one example.
Vitamin E at 400 units after 6 months reduces heart attacks by half. Tests done on Doctors in Europe.
At 100 units there is no benefit at all.
Dosage of Vitamin C
The RDA (recommended daily allowance) is 60 units... a fresh orange delivers 300 units... the accepted level for colds and general health is 1,000 mg Vit C - Three and a third Oranges.
If you test someone by giving them one fifth of an Orange per day and measure the benefit.. how likely is it to improve anything !!!!
Last Comment... since the war... when vitamins were measured in our fruit and veg, there has been an average decrease of 40% of all vits and minerals, for the whole range of cultivated fruit and veg. Did you Doc tell you of this situation ? Did your Doc tell you that some super market oranges have been tested and found to have ZERO vitamin C ? Why not ?
Because his doctors course delivered 4 hours, yes just 4 hours, of Information on nutrition ! If you read a book on nutrition, you are streets ahead of the doc. I have recommended vits for many complaints and seen side effect free cures every time. Feel free to contact me.

yes i do
i take them because i made a lifestyle change about 2 years ago. I'm a vegetarian and i only eat whole foods and some meats. i take supplements to make sure i'm getting enough protein, folic acid, and other nutrients. I also take a metabolism supplement when i feel like i'm gaining weight, like after the holidays. There's chromium and hoodia in it. The vitamins are essential for good overall health. I'm a working mom and I get tired when I don't take my vitamin "cocktail". Vitamin B-12 is awesome for this. I'm not some skin and bones model type either. I'm 5'7", 155; in shape and toned.

Yes, just started taking cod liver oil cos my knees hurt. I was very cynical about this suggestion but the pain went within a few days. I also take ecinachea (sorry if this is mis-spelt) from the winter clock change to the spring clock change in the hope of warding off colds and flu. I was very interested to see that another respondent has said that fish oil supplements have alleviated asthma. This is a good question - we can all learn from the other replies. Including the ones recommending water with whisky.

I do not take any supplements or vitamins. I asked my doctor during my annual physical about them, and was told that if I was not eating properly, I would probably need to take vitamins and or supplements. However, since I have a proper healthy diet, I do not need any supplements or vitamins.

I believe that if you are eating the right diet you do not need supplement or vitamins.
However, I do think fish oil vitamins could be an extra help for bones and aches and pains.

Yes, I take vitamins. I believe even the healthiest diet is lacking nutrition. I wish I could grow my own food. I have been taking Juice Plus for about two years. I am getting color back in my white hair. My doctor says it is the Juice Plus. The only thing I got from other vitamins was a stomach ache.

I do not take any tablets or pills, and never have done. I try and have good meals and always cook a good Dinner, as I think that is essential, and more so as you get older. I do not eat a lot of bread, but a lot of fruit, bananas etc, as my Doctor says they are good for you....but I only see her twice a year for a check up, and nothing else.I am now in my eighties, and go travelling all over the World....it keeps you going...!! By the way I like a small Brandy some evenings...nothing like it...

Yes I do.
I take 2 multivitamins a day.
And, 2 Omega 3 capsules a day.
Do they help? My knees don't hurt and I am basically healthy.
Is it the supplements or is it my belief that the supplements work?
Beats me, but if taking a capsule of distilled water made my knees feel better, I take that, too.

Yes, I do. I take Milk Thistle, it cleanses your system and especially your liver. Beings I am on pain medication, I'm trying to keep from killing my liver. I also take Calcium 600mg a day with vitamin D that helps your body assorb the calcium. I also take Glucosamine 500mg with Chondroitin 400mg, I take three of these a day.
