Of course I have. The word geek is sort of a non complimentary way to describe particular behavior. I know a lot of "geeks", who have no particular habits that make them seem different. I enjoy their intelligence, enjoy sharing information and activities with them, and many of them are quite good looking. This includes girl "geeks" Ones intellectual ability does not usually affect their appearance. So, it will be good for you to rethink your generalization.

geeks rule....(maybe because im a band geek myself), but i dont think this only applys to geeks. There are people you dont ever notice but will intanstly talk to them when you see them possesing the things you want..and i dont believe the yahoo staffs are geeks.

I think you have the wrong word.
A geek is: a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake....
While a nerd is: an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person; especially : one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits.
At least get the word right! Oh and I'm a NERD and proud of it!

I don't think I get it either...but if I do understand. Yes I have. I like talking to people who are very knowledgeable ..it never hurts to have interesting conversations and learn a few things.
