ok my grandma bev and grandpa larry sent me a christmas card and a check for 40$ and i dont talk to them like every day just on holidays
and i wanted to know wat i should put on the card im gona send back to them they put on the card they sent me this:

ok since i dont talk to them that much i need 2 know wat to put on the card and idk if i want to put thank you for the card adn 40$
cuz i think that would sound kinda cheesy

Oh, no! Saying thank you for a card and monetary gift isn't cheesy at all! In fact, it's a gesture I feel far too many people forget to do.

Since you do not have frequent, close contact with your grandparents, all you would need to write is a simple, direct message expressing your wish for them to enjoy the holidays and thanking them for their generosity.

If you're stuck with that to write in the card, you can find cards with simple messages in them. In fact, stores like Hallmark actually carry Christmas thank you cards, which include both a holiday greeting and a note of gratitude.

You're very thoughtful to want to thank your grandparents, even if you do not see or hear from them very often.

Send a Christmas card and wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Then, send them a Thank You note in a separate envelope.
It would also be nice if you called them once in a while. It may seem lame to you, but I promise, a 5 minute call initiated by you would delight them!
