uggs (not the knock-offs) - (if they're out of style, no one told our high school or the girls in college with my sons!).
Hot-Topic gift card,
one of the big makeup boxes from a makeup store near you (lots of different kinds), McDonald's gift card,
Borders-B&N gift cards,
a new cell phone (pink would be good, and cell phone accessories),
a digital camera of any kind,
a prepaid VISA card (she will LOVE going to her favorite store and whipping out her own VISA card...)
a Build-a-Bear polar bear (for the little girl in her)
fuzzy pj pants (the really soft ones) and t-shirts or tanks.

I like the idea of having her nails done, or go one step further and book an appointment for her to have her nails, hair and make-up done!! "Day of Beauty" She will love it!!
I would also consider getting her clothes, but if she's incredibly HIP, then she will likely not care for your taste. (Sorry but if you're over 18, you just don't get it.) As far as the Uggs go...well...I keep reading in fashion mags that Uggs are out. So I think you are too late with that one.

Uggs would be nice but if you dont want to spend $200 dollars on one present get her and iTunes card, Clothes from Aeropostale, Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, Jewlery, make-up, hair stuff, DVDs (i heard that the Nanny Diarys is really good! So is Hairspray) Maybe a Webkinz (if shes into that) Money, Gift Cards...That kinda stuff!

Uggs are really "in" right now especially with the girly girl crowd, so that'd be a great idea. They're pretty expensive though so here are some other ideas:
1. getting her nails done
2. makeup
3. earrings (if she has her ears pierced. if not that's a good idea too.. to get them done)
here's another kind of expensive idea but I know its "in" with the girly girls too:

get her some Uggs, REAL AUTHENTIC uggs.
lots of gift voucher for her fave store is great, so she can pick out EXACTLY what she wants.
A new phone?? the new sony ericsson W910 ( i think) is out in pink and is LOVERRLLYY. Girly, practical and has all the extras

How about a digital camera, a pink one since she is a girly girl...sony has a good quality pink one. Uggs are great too.

If she's a girly girl, then you probably want to get her jewelry, clothes, boots or makeup. I know my daughter loves getting that stuff too!
