Of course they would understand mine. But I'm not sure about others. Sounds like you have a spelling confidence issue. If you are in the "clink" maybe you should do some reading. Not to be rude really, I have read that most facilities have great libraries.
And no, I did not use spell check ....this time ;)

Yahoo uses the spell check in where their computer can decide if your question is too vulgar to be posted. If you spell things the wrong way or capitalize the middle letters in some of the words, then Yahoo cant recognize them as bad questions and it will post most of the time.

They would be some what different in that the words would be spelled correctly but they would still not always be the correct word. All of the corrections they miss would be in word family groups, and being a word and would be left where hand or sand etc was what the writer wanted, want could become ant..... does , doe....not, no... from, form.....the, them, he list goes on...one....wood, would, ......................So long as the first and last letter is correct most people can read anything in context....

I didn't even know there was a spell check on here. I guess I'm just a good enough speller to not have to use it.

But even so, there's plenty of people on here that I can't even understand what their question is already, so obviously they aren't using it anyway.

I would just check the spelling of words with an online dictionary.

I don't ever use spell-check so I doubt it would make any difference whatsoever. I work as an editor and turning off my own internal spell-check is impossible.

They would still be able to understand it. Not saying that there wouldn't be words spelled wrong...just that they could still understand...lol!

It just would slow me down because I would have to check them without assistance. It is much faster to type it reasonably close and then spell check it to correctness.

Only those who check their own spelling, even if they have to resort to dragging out the dictionary!!
