You can make a perforation in the tickets by making a row of holes or cutes close together.
Test how close together they need to be, it depends on the kind of paper and on the size of your cuts/holes.

You can use the kids 'toy' where they follow the edge of a drawing to get the figure out of the paper, it consist of a pin (in a holder) and a thick felt mat.
If you can not find those you can use a pin or knife and a soft cutting board or a thick layer of cardboard.

Use a printed line as guide or use a metal ruler.

Well, your easiest thing would be to buy a perforated cutter from the scrapbooking section of the local craft store. BUT if you are only making a few - use a couple pieces of felt, put the paper on the felt. Use a ruler to lightly draw a line on the paper where you want the perforation. Then use a sewing pin or a straightened safety pin to poke holes about a 1/16" to an 1/8" apart down the line. Takes a little time but for a couple it will work just fine!

if you have a sewing machine you can sew a straight line on the paper. just don't put any thread in the machine. it will create tiny little holes for you. make sure you set the stitch to a low number so the stitches are closer together. this will ruin the needle so don't try to sew with it when you are done.

have fun.

They must be perforated. Or, you could fold and crease them, which would make ripping them easier.
