Ya can't dial up a pet store? but I'm just sure they eat meal worms alive like all the other pet store lizards.

I used to have one and I fed mine live small crickets. I would feed as many as he'll eat depending on the size of crickets and the lizard. The general rule is: as many as they'll eat in 5-10 minutes. But let's be realistic that could be a lot of crickets and get expensive. So maybe try 4-5 crickets once a day.
Make sure to dust crickets and gut-load.

Feed them alive bugs. Like I said before, about 4-5 crickets a day. I personally wouldn't recommend doing the fruit flies. Reason being if they get out they are a pain to get rid of. I don't think your mom will appreciate it much.

WHY would you bring an animal into your home without even knowing what it EATS? Just shows it was an impulse buy, very intelligent. Do some RESEARCH before even THINKING of getting any animal!

Refer to the link below for information. But I honestly suggest you take the gecko back where you came from, as you doubtfully have any ability to care for it properly.

Crickets, meal worms, wax worms, ect, and of course they should probably be alive... What I do with my lizards, is drop one bug or worm in at a time, Till they dont wont eat any more, they will eat till they are not hungry any more... but if your lizard is obese, try offering one or two less prey items... and make sure you gut load your prey items first. pet stores usually dont do this

Ya, meal worms would probably work. You can also set up a little fruit-fly farm in a styrofoam cup. Hide it behind the toilet bowl if you mom objects.
