People are so proud. I have often wanted to do things for my friends to help out, they refuse!
I was washing up for one friend when i had dinner at hers, she told me off and scooted me out of the kitchen, i felt like a child, and upset that she stopped me actually! Why will people not let you help?

The Prodigal Son is right. i have to believe that is someone offered me this though they would be happy with the act of giving. in that case help in fixing a situation for someone that is important to me.

Take me shopping for an iTouch, a 50 dollar house coat, CDs and DVDs and a laptop.
Laptop and iTouch for me, housecoat for my mummy, and the DVDs and CDs for everyone in my immediate family (including my bro's girlfriend and myself). I could get Rambo's (the dog) present myself!
Movies would consist of Waiting to Exhale (mum), some chick flicks (Carrie, the GF), Scar-face and action-packed movies (bro), Rush Hour II + III (younger bro) and other movies for moi.
haha.

It's funny you ask. An old friend said this to me last week. I asked him to buy Santa toys for my daughter. I'm going through a divorce and money is very tight. He's amazing for doing it for me. There are angels among us..

I'd ask them to get decorations for me and put them up. It may be a little late but then next year I'd have them to use again.
