Don't SOME men piss you off when they say they're superior to women. The reason I'm posting this is because I saw an old thread a few minutes ago, and a very ignorant man was saying that he is superior to women. Do you think this is wrong?
Who was greater, Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin? For me it's Janis Joplin, but I don't have anything agains Jimi Hendrix. He was great, and they were both equally talanted, but I just prefer Janis.
No women scientists eh?
What about Marie Curie?
How about women superstars?
Janis Joplin. As far as I know, she was very famous back in the day, and is still loved today.
What about Gracie Slick?
What about ABBA? The supergroup of the 70's. Sure, the group had 2 male members and 2 female members, but the girls did most of the singing.
Let's not forget Cher, whose carear spanned for 4 decades.
Men and women are equal. Men did great things and so did women.
Who agrees?

Let's not forget Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Stevie Nicks, and Mama Cass.

Point being, all women and men are created equal. There are such great musicians as Jimi and Janis, and no freakin' way can I compare them. I love Cher just as much as I love Sonny. And Grace Slick was very beauitful and an amazing singer. You just can't compare genders. Both know how to rock.

Peace out

When I want a woman's opinion, I'll give it to her.
Joking, joking. I agree with you. I like Hendrix better, but I like Janis. Not so much Slick and Cher, though. And don't forget Madonna. What, 25 years she's been at or near the top? Women excel in all fields.
For my money, women are God's greatest creation.

I will not get into the superiority battle. There is an over all equality between the sexes.

But someone sure knows how to jerk your chain.

You listed one scientist. All the rest were entertainers.

Your premise is correct, but your argument is weak. There are a lot more women who have made significant contributions in science, education, humanities, government, etc.

i totally agree with you. Some men just don't realize what kind of strides women have made to break through the housewife stereotype. Some men are still living in the past, because they think it was better times....pfft for them. We are all equal in every aspect.

People that feel men are superior are not only insecure about their own masculinity, but also, uneducated.

Don't froget about Catherine the Great of Russia, she wasn't even Russian or related to the russian royal family...
