No, and having addressed this for the 2nd time I'm now compelled to go purchase one, unless I can find the one my great-grand-mother (Bless her soul) made and left me in her will in 1978.

I love fruit cake! Not just any fruit cake, but the ones my mother makes. I tolerate some of the fruit parts because its chalk full of nuts. All kinds of nuts. Some people would say that its an acquired taste. I love the way it tastes. Everything my mother cooks it good!!!

Hey friend, you eat what you like and don't worry about others. I can't say I share your like for fruit cake, but hey....I eat and love oyster stew Christmas eve! I hear there are some rockin good recipies for fruit cake out there that blow the old reputation out of the water. I am all for a new treat, I'd love to try it! Any one out there who is willing to bake it for me? PLease?!
