Respect their wishes.

One day, if you are fortunate enough to have children of your own, you will understand.

Merry Christmas

Spell check! It's right there at the top right corner! Use it!
You are 25 and she is 27 and you are looking for permission?? Maybe you two are just a little too immature to get married in the first place. This is your life what other important decisions are you going to let other people control?

My husband is 2 yrs younger than me. It's never been a problem. Can't let other people run your lives, don't leave your destiny in the hands of her parents. Now if you have no job and are still in school or something maybe that's why they have a problem with your age because maybe if you were older you would be more financial stable to support a wife and future children. Sit down and talk to them.

You're ADULTS. Live your own lives and stop worrying about what her parents say/think.

i don't think it's so much an age difference issue for her parents. i believe it an intelligence issue that they have towards you.

I wouldn't want a son-in-law who couldn't
write or spell at 25 either.
