- pushing others away when i need them the most
- acting like everything is alright when it isn't
- negative, pessimistic thinking
- not trying new things because fears get in the way
- settling for second, third, or even fourth best because that's all i feel i deserve

i have a fear of living my life. i really need to get over this fear. i care too much about what others think of me and it pretty much dictates my life. i mean, even my college major was decided by others and i achieved their goal for me. i'm 23 and i still care way too much. you know, i was talking about this the other day. even my younger sister doesn't live her life by other standards. ugh, i need to get over this because i know what i want. well, at least in some aspects of my life.
i guess cutting could also be one of them. i've grown used to it. in a weird way it seems normal to me. but, i know it doesn't help me in the long run.
