need laptop help?

i just got my laptop yesterday and i installed netzero on it. but how in the world do you get wireless internet? i am completely confused on what to do so could you really help me out. oh and one more thing if there is anything elese i should know about laptops then please let me know.

first you have to get a broadband internet account (dsl, cable, clearwire) and connect their modem to a wireless router. Then you can connect to the router via your laptop's wireless setup.
