My husbands dad's name is Jacob, and my dad's name is Joseph. We both have crazy amazing relationships with our fathers. Both of our fathers have had hearth attacks a couple of times, so, we had to go through almost losing them. They mean the world to us. Life wouldn't be the same without them. We decided that we would name our first boy Jacob Joseph, and probably call him J.J. for short. How does that sound?

I LOVE the nickname J.J. on a boy, and it's awesome that you're able to honor both of your fathers at the same time, especially since they mean a lot to you guys. Jacob Joseph also flows well together.

Jacob Joseph is alright, not terrible, but not my favourite. I like how you found important meaning for your son's name, rather than just whatever you liked. I want to include family and meaning to my children's names as well.
