I am one child in a family of 10. My two older siblings, 18+23 are living on their own.

I really only have one older sibling, my step-sister who is 18, a senior in high school. She is always in my business. When I'm on the phone she's like, "who is it? is it a boy?" Also, she wants to get in my life like when I get my period and other things like go on dates. I tell her the major points of my dates, not anything else.

I have 6 younger siblings ages 4, 7, 8, 12, 14, 15.
The 14+15 year olds I can tolerate, but everyone younger is a pain in the butt. The 7 year old goes into my room when I'm at gymnastics and play dress-up with my clothes. The 12 year old is always bugging me to take her places. The 8 year old wears my jewelery without asking and she knows it ticks me off. The 4 year old, I can also tolerate her.

I'm 16 and how do I get them out?????

change your attitude. your siblings love you and want to be involved with you. return the favor - you'll find them a lot easier to get along with. who knows you might even like them.

I've only got a twin sister but we hate each other and share a teeny tiny room, so I think I can kind of empathize.

Get a lock for your jewelry box and that will keep the 8-year old out. If you store your clothes in a closet, a simple latch up at the top will keep the 7-year old out. If you keep your stuff in drawers, that's a bit trickier.

The 12-year old probably thinks you're the greatest thing since sliced bread. Take her places sometimes and not grudgingly; it'll be good for her and it'll make her shut up.

You need to get your parents involved if your little siblings are doing this; it's not okay. They need to learn to respect your privacy. If all else fails, put another lock on your door. Make it a word lock so you can't lose the key or forget the combination, and put it on your door when you go out.

Just ignore your older siblings. You have your own room, so you can get away from her. Take advantage of that. If that won't stop her, then tell her retarded stuff when she asks you. "Who are you talking to? Is it a boy?" "Yeah, it's President Bush. We're talking about nuking your room." It might not get her to go away, but it'll at least keep you entertained.

I can barely handle one sibling; I have no idea how you deal with nine.

It's annoying, but it is for a few more years.

Here's my suggestions: consider making the 7 year old a princess dress. Or show her which of your clothes she can dress up in and she should ask you if she wants to try others. Find some cheap clothes at a Goodwill store for her to play with. She may find it even more fun if you were around to play dress up with her. 12 year olds can't drive, so just help out. I don't know about the jewelry other than putting it into a locked box or telling her which jewelry is fine to wear and which she should ask about first.

for the younger play with them and explain that you dont bother their things so you would like it if they leave yours alone the 12yo take her with you she just wants to be like you and you friends so let her some... the older one she is trying to be a good big sister and probably she is bossy because that is way older sisters are...to really get her tell your parents that you are goin to tell her a whopper of a story and do it just make sure your parents know about it maybe they will play along.....just be understanding to them they are the only people who love you no matter what.....

talk to your parents about it and you can get a door bell and lock for your room also you should start looking for out of state collages! for 8 and 7 you should put your jewelry where they cant reach it and get locks for your stuff like a jewelry box with a lock and key so you can take it with you when you leave and if your sisters mess with your clothes mess with theirs and try on their stuff. they won't like you streching out their stuff(assuming your bigger than them ) and if theysee you doing that they will stop if you stop:). and for the 12 year, tell her you can't unless an adult over 21 is with you and that it is the LAW! also it helps if you get a speacial door knob for your room and get one that needs a key, give one to each parent and one for you so nobody but you and them can go in.

good luck.

Well, just talk to them that you need privacy and lock your door. Just tell them that you are older than them so you need privacy and they will understand you.
