This afternoon I watched a film on BBC2 called "Merry Christmas".
It was the saddest and most thought provoking film I have ever seen.
It was based on the 24th December, 1914 world war when the opposing sides called an unofficial truce and spent the Christmas period together in peace.
Yes, that part of the film was great, but then it was the consequences which all sides had to endure. What was interesting was the church influence in their punishment.

Oh, I'm really glad someone else found Artificial Intelligence sad, I bawled my eyes out at the end of that for about 20 minutes and I don't know anyone else who thought it was sad!
Other than that, Titanic - where the mother tucks the children into bed - and Stepmom, where her daughter says at the end "I'm really going to miss you". I couldn't ever watch that again; once was enough. Oh, and Steel Magnolias.

Bridge to Terribethia and Titanic! Havnt seen Anne Frank but i would expect thats pretty emotional aswell.

I actually have two movies - Old Yeller - an old disney movie about a dog saving the family from a rabid animal - getting rabies himself then and the boy having to shoot him. Wow, makes me sad just writing about it. And my second was Brians Song about a football player.
