I'd pick the two girls names you like the best and go with that. I think it's tacky and sad when twins' names are really similar like Mandy and Sandy or Emma and Gemma. Each baby is a different person, so why name them cutesy matchy names? Poor kids.
**I am friends with several sets of twin girls who are named: Catherine and Rebecca, Ophelia and Penelope, and Ivy and Lily. Cute!

Can't suggest many specific pairs of names, but I would avoid names that rhyme or are two variations of the same name--or are the same two names, with the first and middle reversed. You could name two girls after their grandmothers, or for two favorite literary (Rosalnd and Celia)or Biblical characters (Mary and Martha) or historical figures (Harriet and Sojourner, Elizabeth and Victoria) with similar associations. Alliterative names are also nice--Jennifer and Jessica, Ruth and Rachel, Emily and Elaine, Kristen and Karen, for example.

Hi there - I am identical twin and I have to say - please don't give them names that are too match-y. They need their own unique names. Names that are a little bit similar such as Elsa and Nina are ok, but not Mindy and Mandy! We twins have to grow up and be real people too, we're not just part of a set. So my best suggestion would be to just pick the two girls names that you like, even if they are totally different.
