last machine will be ps2 it the 1 cat 5 will go in from wireless machine

Yes.
It's likely you would need a crossover cable to do so. Although if one of the network cards has autosense crossover, a standard cat5 cable could be used.

Now what you would be able to do with that connection will depend on the OS/software.

Using a CAT5 cross-over cable between both machine's LAN ports will work. You will need to set up internet connection sharing on the actual internet connection, and then configure the other machine to the same workgroup as the first.

Technically yes you could, but you would have to bridge your wireless and wired connection on the one computer and enable internet shareing. Its overly complicated though and its much less of a headache to get a router, check for sales they are dirt cheap right now.

set the wired connection on the computer with the wireless connection as the default gateway of the other computer..

You can hook it up, but you won't get internet.
The computer you are connecting it to would have to be setup as a gateway. (Internet connection sharing on Windows).
Takes a bit of configuration and some static routes.

yes all u have to do is make the pc connect to the main computer
