but undy, once you add memories to something, its not the same object as before, its a material possession with a little something special

People. I'm a painter, and I have only recently realized that my interest is less in the actual process of painting, and more in the excuse to observe people. People in their natural habitats - malls, parks, cars, whatever - are intensely beautiful to me. By the way: beautiful isn't "pretty". Pretty is usually unstimulating to me. Pretty people tend to be one-sided. I like complex people. Diversity too, adds a wonderful complex side to our race. Maybe pretty people are there to provide contast to the truly complex and beautiful side of humanity. Thank God for the Dark, and Sarcastic. Thank God for the Quiet and Awkward. If humanity is truely made in God's image, He must be gloriously complex.

My son, and nature. Sometimes I just go for a walk in the woods and marvel at how exquisite everything is - all the little branches on a tree, the beautiful birds with the patterns of their feathers, a camouflaged toad with golden eyes; there is so much to take in.

Love.. whether it be for a family member, a friend or the person you want to spend your life with, it is a wonderful gift to share with others and makes life a lot easier to live.

But some people develop deep feelings for a material possesion. like me, my feelings are towards my possesions because they have my memories of happiness in them.
