wireless router?

i have a netgear adsl wireless router and the wireless light isnt on green and never has. is it still releasing a signal??

If you can still connect to the internet wirelessly w/o the wireless light on, on your wireless router then its ok. Its just the light indicator on your router that is not anymore working.
But if you are not able to connect wirelessly because your wireless light is not on, then you need to check the connection settings and the signal.

See if you can connect to it via Wifi from your computer/laptop. If the lights aren't on or at least flashing it probably is not. But check anyway.
