A first double name. Jean being pronounced as "John"?

Thanks. I'm undecided on Jean/John. Though my fiance wants to keep Jean. And I definitely won't be using Marc as a sole middle name. Hyphenated or not, it's only a two-syllable name.

Its nice, but i would spell the first name as John or people will call him Jean by mistake.

People will call him Jean, not John, pronunciation-wise I mean. So no, just name him John-Marc, that's a very nice strong name.

i think of Jean is gorgeous as a results of fact its in les mis and that they pronounce it "john" inspite of the undeniable fact that it fairly is unsuitable for gene. once you're fairly conscientious on pronunciation, i might carry on with John.

PLEASE, no hyphenated names. I've said it before and I'll say it again, they are just horrific. Why not Jean/John Marc (as in Mark for the middle name)?

It is fine if you live in a french speaking area otherwise it seems a little odd and people won't know how to pronounce it.
