if you dint dont read this i dont want 2 spoil it. anyway how did he find out human blood was the cure. my phone rang at the end so i left for like a minute and when i came back he said the cure is human blood and he blew himself up with those mutants.

at the end when the were in the glass cube he realized that the cure wasn't just in his own blood alone but in the fusion of the antibodies in his blood which made him immune to the virus and the creature blood combined together thats why at the end of the movie he gave Anna the blood from the creatures body.

Because he had natural antibodies in his blood to the virus, he used his own blood as a base for his tests. It was just a matter of him finding the correct solution to use as an anti-body to fight the virus, which he did eventually find, but it was too late.

his blood that he gave the monster girl was curing her, because he was immune to any monster bites so he stuck his blood in her blood stream, so his blood was in the monster girl's blood that was making her cured.
