As it's shown in your film:

The return from the killing fields is more than a debriefing
......it's a slow ascent from hell.

NO other words necessary!

Awesome footage.

PS, Due to some of these responses, ignorance among cons, is beyond me!!

who else if not them can tell the truth to the American people about the way it is in Iraq.why even ask such a question.and i don;t care if your on the front lines or in the rear.it;s bad no matter where your at.the Genarals where instructed not to say anything against the war.even if they know it;s wrong they can;t say anything.what;s that tell you about this damn war in Iraq.another VIET NAM all over again.you damn well better listen to the soldiers when they tell you about that place.their putting their lives on the line everyday.not to listen to them is just plan foolish.somebody has to tell the truth. are you going to believe the politicians.if so you;re not to smart.these guys can;t even get a little R+R. where are they going to go.the culture is so much different at least a thousand years behind times.and they spend so much time there, more then any other soldiers ever had to in the past.in VIET NAM you did 13 months then you came home.if you wanted more time then you asked to go back.but once you did your time that was it.and you had a place to go for some R+R.these guys and women in Iraq have no where to go for R+R.and then when they come home their sent right back.and now they wonder why soldiers are going awol.yes i think we owe it to them. if they want to tell the world what this war is all about they deserve the right to speak out.but i hear they are told like wise that if they come home their not to say anything bad about the way things are being done in iraq.does that sound like a free government.what happened to freedom of speech.

Unfortunatly the troops don't have much of a open voice in this whole thing.....But the fact They can still contribute money to a candidate's election, and the fact Ron Paul is recieving the most military contrabutions than ANY other candidate including McCain, sends a clear message on who our troops support.....and were constantly being told to support the troops..we'll I am.....I'm voting for Ron Paul .

The troops are the only ones who can tell you what it's like.

depends on which ones - many never left the base - while the base can still be a dangerous place - they really didn't see the "real iraq"

Probably, and I hear them saying that our troops need to be there. Terrorists are an every day threat!

who says we don't already? some of us do, liberals and democrats do not want to "hear" the troops unless its what they want to hear, i.e we are losing, we need more equipment or "Bush admin is not giving us the equipment we need (which democrats voted for before voting against it)
