I was just wondering which movies were the best to watch for Christmas since it is that time of year? I'd prefer to rent the movie, so please make a short list of a few movies that would be good for the family, including children since younger people will be watching as well.

A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) - CLASSIC
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
The Polar Express (2004) - My MOM's FAVORITE
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & The Island of Misfit Toys (2001) - FAVORITE
Benji's Very Own Christmas Story (1978)
The Christmas Shoes (2002)
Christmas Vacation (1989)
Christmas with the Kranks (2004)
Elf (2003)
The Holiday (2006) - ROMANTIC
Home Alone (1990)
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
I'll Be Home for Christmas (1998) Jingle All the Way (1996)
Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
The Nutcracker (1993)
Prancer (1989) - FAVORTIE of mine
The Santa Clause (1994)
Santa Clause 2 (2002)
Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006)
The Santa Trap (2002)
White Christmas (1954) - CLASSIC

I included years. So you knew which one I was talking about. Most of these you can find at block buster, hastings, or any other movie rental place. They are all either animated, Cartoon, Real Life/Comedy, or Family fun ones. There may be one or two that push the PG13 mark but all of them are that or less! I've watched all of these (have a thing for holiday movies) They should all be on DVD as well or most of them at least.

Happy Holidays!

Well I suggest AGAINST the live action How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It's been completely twisted around.
Try:
The Santa ClausE 1,2 and 3
Santa Claus is coming to Town
The Year Without a Santa Claus
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (of course)
Mickey's Magical Christmas - Snowed in at The House of Mouse

If you want laugh out loud, kind of on the dumb side, then these are great:
