Our "Governator" is doing fairly well. He is a regular guy with special powers. For instance, when he crashed his bike with side car in Brentwood, he didn't have a license to drive it. But being governor he said "Pardon me" and all was forgiven.
As far as Arnie becoming President, I doubt it. But that is why Maria married him. They are trying to make a bullet proof Kennedy. So Maybe one of his children will be Prez.

He managed to get the former Governor recalled because the State was $5billion in debt.

When he was unable to do anything about it, he managed after two tries to get the voters to approve selling bonds to raise $50billion. That having been done, the payoff obligates the State to a debt of $100billion that isn't reported in the yearly deficit, which was $8billion last year and is currently $14billion.

In the mean time funding for schools has been slashed and will be again. The roads have gone to perdition. and the State is is a really bad way.

Da Schwartz's latest scheme is to blame it of reduced tax revenue caused by the Bush Administration's slaughtering of the housing market.

This is pretty amazing for two reasons.

1.) In Calif., property taxes go to Counties not the State.

2.) whether or not a property has gone into foreclosure, it still has an owner, and that owner pays taxes on it.

Like everywhere else, California keeps increasing its taxes (based on percentages), and the revenue keeps increasing. Service keep declining as more and more money is diverted into the pockets of the real special interest groups (according to Da Schwartz, special interests are children, the elderly and the poor)..

So, all in all, Schwarzenegger has been a dismal failure. But the media still loves him, so he gets good publicity even though he has converted $5billion in debt to $114billion.

Pretty good overall. Better than I expected.

No he doesn't have the right character to be President and they won't change the rule. We don't need another Reagan in office anyway, with the glib talk, big smile and glossing over everything important.

He's a lot smarter than Bush of course, but that's not saying much.

Arnold's okay I have to say. More talent than 99% of the generally substandard candidates that the GOP put up for office.

Hate to say this, but he was almost as ineffective as Gray Davis. We are about to be in a bigger fiscal crisis than we were when we threw Gray Davis out. He has spent most of his time in office trying to appease the formidable Democratic machine in Sacramento.

Californians seem to like him as their governor, and that's what matters. I don't see Congress ever allowing non-native citizens run for President.

for some reason, him being the Terminator would kinda make that impossible.

I know he's done great as a governor, but I don't think people will take him seriously enough.
