If they sing the Christmas Carols all the way through - and they are children accompanied by an Adult I ask the adult if they would rather I give them money or sweets. -

Nothing I am afraid apart from being at work most of the time I am on the first floor so I have no chance of seeing anyone.

If they came here, which I hope they don't!, I wouldn't answer the door, but my husband would. He can stand there listening, but I'm not. So, I guess that answers your question. I'd give them nothing.

I'm safely tucked away so no one will be rining my doorbell. I think you are meant to give them something but not sure what. Maybe they'll tell you?

they never come to my house
and if they did i probably wouldn't give them anything unless it was young children then i'd gve them sweets or some loose change from my purse
