Hello, I've got a serious question.
The problem is, when I was a child, I was sexually into both men and women, and used to think about both. However, now I see myself having sex with a woman, because their more attractive. I do not think about having sex with men ever. I'm really confused now, because I'm desperate to know that the gay thoughts I was one having have gone, as they didn't give me no pleasure. Even when I masturbate I think of hot women. Do you know what this means? I am a 16 year old male, and think I'm at the peak of my adolescents and everything is muddled in my head. I didn't know what I was doing when I was a child, hence feel so bad for thinking the gay thoughts that I did. Please answer my question. Be serious because you'll help me out a lot if you do. Have you been in a similar situation? What happened? Please read this, and advise me on what is going on. Thank you.

Sounds quite normal, you have described what a lot of guys and girls go through, they just never admit it. During your teens is a rough time as your sexuality is in flux and hormones rage on and off. So your case is typical of many guys who wonder what their true sexual orientation really is. I really don't think you have a problem, sounds like you have sorted it out on your own that you will be heterosexual. Good luck as it seems you have figured out a lot at 16.

A lot of people have a misconception about sexual preferences. Yes, a lot of people can be strictly homosexual, and a lot of people can be strictly heterosexual, but there is a large gray area in between that many many people fall into. Look into Kensey's scale of sexuality. It is perfectly normal to have sexual feelings for both sexes, and then find yourself having a stronger preference for one over the other. You are exploring your thoughts and feelings, and discovering your identity, which is an amazing thing. Don't feel bad for any thoughts you have; they make you who you are. You may now just be realizing that you are more on the heterosexual end of the scale. Time and sexual experiences will give you more insight into this. Be safe and stay open-minded :)

when most male and females have sex and or touch each other in their younger years it usually mean they were just exploring not only how and what it feels like to be partnered with someone of the same sex but because your body is changing so your curious to see if it is happening to someone else. that is why some people do what they do. it doesn't mean their gay or anything its more of trying to get information as to how and why their body is changing and if its normal. since all your interested is girls now just chalk it up to being inquisitive.
