Well i made a question a while ago but only got scanners that you must pay for. and being 15, i cant realy pay for it.
So i need a good FREE ( not trial ) anti spyware and anti virus,
i currently have avg anti virus and avg anti spyware(trial) so i only realy need a good FREE anti spyware.
Or is super anti spyware a good anti spyware? i want something that maytbe scans incoming files or something

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/... On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

Well, during the AVG anti spyware trial period, the program provides real time protection as well as scans your computer. However, after the trial period, the real time protection is disabled. You will need to purchase a software license to get back the real time protection. However, after the trial period, the manual scanning will still work as normal. With Super antispyware, you still have the same problem. Super anti spyware does not have real time protection. It only provides manual scanning. If you want real time protection, as well as manual scanning, you can use Spybot Search & Destroy, Microsoft's Windows Defender and/or Spyware Terminator. Ad Aware is a good program but does not offer real time protection. You can find all these programs at

AVG takes up too much space in your hard drive and its spyware is not as good as what I am going to give you. Now Avast is a good 1. There is so many that are free BUT they don't always work. Here are a few that are free and work real well. www,free-av.com www.avast.com (home Edition) spyware- www.spywareterminator.com is an Excellant 1 thats free and then theres www.spybot.com. So heres a few that are good and they work.

No antivirus or antispyware protection is perfect but a good mixture of the two will help you clean your system and hopefully keep it clean.

I will say to choose between Avast Home or AVG free edition. Both are free and good enough to protect your computer. Both will update automatically. If you want speed then go for avast home. I have tried both avast and avg. Avast is a little fater then AVG. Norton is also a good option as u are already using it. But it is not free and it will make your computer very slow.
