It was either my great-grandma dying or my step-bro taking me to see my favorite band. I was seeing them for the second time, and he endured being scratched to try and get me a drumstick. But security ended up taking it and giving it to the people who scratched him AND already had a drumstick! We were both so pissed, but we later found out those stupid people actually lived a town over and knew my best friend. We will get revenge in '08!!!

It seemed like all the drivers came to race clean, not the typical "wreckers or checkers" we've seen in previous years. In all, there were a few highlights...I agree with the Busch crew bowing to the fans and DJ driving the truck...but as for the actual race, I think there were four things that stuck out in my mind: 1. Elliott Sadler, who had one of the best cars all weekend, was eliminated on lap two by AJ Allmendinger (who went on to win) 2. Sam Hornish Jr. raced his way into the show, hit the wall several times during the main event, and was one of the fastest cars at the end, finishing 7th 3. Two of the three JGR cars had engine problems, both were leading the race at the time it happened. 4. Carl Edwards was dominate, but opted to make no changes during the ten minute recess while everyone else did, and we see how far that got him.
