I am gay so i don't like sports.But my friend who says he is straight does not like watching sports.
So does this means he is gay.I suspect something:)

Not at all, my husband doesn't watch sports. Well, he does like auto racing. But as for football, baseball etc, no. Also many homosexuals do like sports.

Im straight and I can not stand to watch pro-sports on TV. I know a few gay guys, and a few of them enjoy sports. Being gay, straight or bisexual has nothing to do with sports or other "manly man" things.
The main reason I dislike pro-sports is that so many of them were draft dodgers during the veitnam war. Wanna talk tough? jump outta an airplane with a rifle.
My gay uncle served 6 tours as a Navy Seal in Veitnam.

Sports does not determine a man or woman's sexual preference. I've been married twice now, my first husband lived for all sports! Of course his father was a big sports fan. My current husband does not care at all for sports unless it is dealing with cars, Nascar, Mud Running, Trail Riding. His father never got into sports. My current husband is more masculine than my ex. I love watching baseball, and nascar and I'm STRAIGHT! Some women like sports, some don't. Some men like sports, some don't. I believe it's what you are use to and how you were raised. I do not like football because of bad experiences with it. My ex-husband would always drink and get out of control, throwing things, screaming, whatever if his favorite team was losing. If you are raised watching sports, you will be use to them and will probably like them. If you have bad experiences with sports, chances are, you will turn against them. So more than likely, your friend is telling you the truth. Perhaps you want him to be gay and looking for signs?!

As a gay person I'd think you'd know better than to ask that. Of course it's possible that he's straight and doesn't like sports. Lots of men don't like to watch sports.

There are plenty of gay guys who enjoy sports and straight guys who don't. Heck, there are plenty of women who enjoy sports along with the ones who don't.
I am always amazed that men or women who are gay will suspect someone because of a mannerism.

I can't stand sports and i'm not gay, but i am close to being asexual. However, i know a lot of straight men who don't like watching sports.

No, not at all, there are many people who lead full and complete lives and never watch television or even own one. To assume that one is gay merely because they don't watch sports on T.V. is very presumptive and wishful thinking.
