gluttony (n.) greed or excess in eating.

Gluttony means eating more than you need. I agree that many eat excessively and to a disgusting degree whenever there is an excuse to do so. There is nothing wrong with enjoying food but, if one feels uncomfortable after eating, it virtually always means you ate too much. There are probably more people (including Christians) guilty of this sin than any other sin.

Gluttony is eating more and more and more even though you may not even being hungry. Consuming food because it's there/ orver eating. That's my definition.

It's either eating all the time, even when you're not hungry, or eating things so other people can't have them.
