im going to buy a 360 and wonder how big the wire is roughly
because imnot buying a 60 quid adaptor thanks

It's only about ten or so feet (~3 meters), so unless your router is within that range I'd recommend purchasing an inexpensive separate one.

Internet cables are standardized. You might get one with a slightly thicker outer-jacket on it but in general there is no noticeable difference.

about 2metres. u can buy longer ethernet cables from any good pc shop, they cost on average about £1 per metre or $0.75 per metre.
