I would say more of a suspense/thriller, because there really wasn't that much action in it, if you think about it. Quite a few jumps and scares, though.

I wouldn't call it a thriller, there's some action in it, but not like a Bruce Willis "Die Hard," kind of action, it's more of a suspense than anything else, more like the suspense in the movie "Signs," with Mel Gibson, there are jumpy parts.

i consider it more a a sci-fi movie because of the premise of the whole movie.
