Here's a babysitting rate calculator that you can use to help figure out how much to charge. But I think it may be more for casual babysitting vs more of a daycare situation. Your best option is to call some local daycares pretending to be a mom looking to place her child with the criteria you've mentioned.

Take a look into the cost of in home childcare for your city. I would maybe charge her about 1/2 to 2/3 of that price to be fair. A newborn is a lot of work and if this is income you also need, don't get cheated. make sure you also advise her that she needs to provide formula and diapers, just like a daycare.

First, call in-home daycares and ask for their full time rates. Then, discuss the details of the job. Will you be watching the baby in your home or theirs? Will you be taking the baby to her doctor appts? If so, that is more like a nanny (which get paid twice as much).

I charge $150 per week for full time care (in my home).

my friends baby sitter gets $450 per week.

mine nanny in newjersey commands $500 per week. i have no problem with it because i believe i happy nanny results in a happy baby baby. you dont wanna low pay a nanny if they are spending a lot of time with your small child, if she is happy then i know my son will be taken care off.

most nannies in new york get a lot of money , nothing less than 350 per week, thats how much most daycare cost,

$40 to get things for the baby if tings run out and $60 for your-self. the $40 wil go for dipares and milk. the $60 is $10 a day plus a little extra for your needs. it's hard work taking care of a new baby!!
