Surprisingly, in the top 20 percentile.
I don't know where all these 100k homes are but they make up 50% and the 200 - 500 make 20%, 500 - 1,000 make 20% and over is about 10.
This was from 2005 data in the US's top 50 markets.

i would say upper middle class - if most of the net worth in the house could be lower since property values change so quickly!!!

earning 125,000 jointly puts u in top 5%
400000 puts u in top 4.75% approximately
