Lol, funny you should say that, but the glass in our oven door shattered the other weekend, and we can't get it fixed until after Christmas. We actually have two ovens though, and up until a couple of years ago we managed with only one, but my parents are acting as if Christmas lunch is ruined.
For me though, I'd be more devastated by the computer breaking.

The oven breaking down would be a nightmare! I could like without my computer - for a little while anyway!

I think if my over was to break to be honest.
Apart from throwing myself out the door to PC world and grabbing hold of the best bargain I could at the time, and scrambling back home and plugging in, with a huge sign of relief !
I have ways of getting back up on line, but not with an oven, and a humongous turkey to cook !

...well since my oven is already broken, I would loathe the thought of my computer breaking down...even though it has no aromatic spicy smell of pumpkin pie baking in the warm oven on a winters night with teacup in hand anticipating the oven light going off to signal bliss has arrived to accompany my thirst

my computer i could cope without it for a while.....but not the oven as im cooking this year! imagine how much they would charge you 3 days before xmas to have it fixed lol!

The oven would be worse. I have two computers anyway...so that wouldn't be too bad.

my oven, i could always go to my brothers house and use his. he's lives like 3 minutes away from me, my computer, oh God, it was down about 2 weeks ago for 10 days and then again for two, i was fit-to-be-tied!!! ~â¥~
