I used to play often, but not as much anymore. I should play more often, it's a great game. My dad taught it to me, and I used to go to coffeeshops with friends and play chess and drink coffee and relax..
I used to play against a roomate a few times a week. We were/are good friends, so we would talk trash and try to push each other buttons (ei. - he's very impatient.. so I would take a longer time to pick a move.. )
For some reason, my openings are decent, my mid game is better, but my end game is HORRIBLE! I have a hard time finishing opponents, and it's cost me..

lol, never crossed my mind to call it a civilize game
But yeah, I do learn the basic, use to play it in high school. I never really remembers all the opening moves though

yeah i joined the chess club back in high school and what got me motivated is when facing my cousin before and after that i started loving it and it's fun and its a great way to hone your skills for strategy and things too i suck at it xD but i still like it

Actually, I don't even know how to play it. But it seems slow and something that should be played delicately with a lot of patience!

don't have that big a attention span. must concentrate everything on answering question. there, i did it. next. have four hours before next break time.
they assigned me to the am. football section today. i do the green dot answers and questions and somtimes work on cowboys team.
